Before moving to a Photovoltaic “PV” system you must reduce your energy consumption first. Switching to a solar geyser as opposed to an electric geyser, which can account for almost half your monthly bill, is the best place to start.

• A Solar geyser’s 2kW element is only switched on if the sun is not able to heat your water.
